Good Friday Service
Welcome to Lighthouse Covenant Church
A Refuge of Community
We’re so glad you’ve landed here! These are such chaotic and uncertain times, aren’t they? But we’re committed to become the best Lighthouse Church we can be — for our whole community. So while we’re following the guidelines of our civic leaders and not gathering in person on Sunday mornings, we don’t intend to miss a beat!
Although we’re a smaller church, we’re leveraging that to our advantage. That’s why we’ve decided to keep things as interactive as we can rather than just posting sermons online. Here’s how it works:
During the week prior to each Sunday we prepare and distribute a fresh, thought-provoking Worship Guide for the first half of each service. That’s by design! We want to encourage folks to intentionally practice new worship habits so that we can continue to disciple our kids or encourage each other.
Then, just before 10:30 am on Sundays, we ask you to PUSH THE BUTTON (see above) or click this link. Using the wonders of technology, we all gather virtually in our online chapel. But not just for Pastor Phil’s message. We also build in time for Q & A, sharing, and prayer. We think it works really well and would love to have you join us.
We’ve created our own little phone tree to check in on each other. We want to make sure we’re staying in touch, encouraging, and praying for each other well. You certainly don’t have to be a part of Lighthouse, but if you’d like to be involved or know someone for whom it would refresh their lives, or would simply like to be on our mailing list for each week’s worship guide, please let us know!
The Lord is our light and our salvation –
whom shall we fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of our lives –
of whom shall we be afraid?Psalm 27.1
